As a USRSA MRT and GRSA CTS, I am pleased to offer services for racquet customization or matching with the use of the revolutionary Wilson Baiardo Tune Pro machine, which measures weight, balance, swing weight, and special bending properties along with string bed stiffness.

It should be noted that most racquets that comes from the manufacturer is made slightly different (even if it is the same racquet).  Identical racquets can differ in weight up to 10 grams.  Racquets can also fluctuate 0.25 inches in balance and 5 to 9 swing weight points.  This may explain why you have a "favorite racquet" in your bag.  By "tuning" the weight, balance, and swing weight of your racquets to your desired specifications, you'll have a racquet fit for your playing style and feel, providing a crucial on-court advantage. 

In regards to swing weight, a higher swing weight would result in less maneuverability but more stability. A lower swing weight racquet would result in more maneuverability but less stability.  More power would come from a racquet with a high swing weight, while the power will largely need to be generated by the swing speed with a lower swing weight racquet.
