My labor cost for stringing services is $20 for all synthetics, including natural gut. I have various strings types available in stock at various prices. If there is a string that you want that I don't have, I can usually get it for you at a better price than the local sports and tennis shops. Contact me with your inquiry/request, and for kama'aina rates.
Once you have made your choice, simply contact me to arrange to drop off your racquet. All string jobs are completed within 24 hours, and same day completion is provided for racquets dropped off or picked up by 9 am on Saturday and Sunday. When my schedule permits, I can provide a while-you-wait service (you can grab a cup of coffee at the Starbucks or some refreshments at Kona Brewing Co. at Koko Marina Shopping Center while you wait!).
Also, I am able to provide a FREE pick-up and drop-off service from areas around Downtown and East Oahu (Diamond Head, Kahala, Waialae, Aina Haina, Hawaii Kai, and Waimanalo); and anywhere outside this area for a nominal fee.
Note: All prices below are net and include stringing fee.

Plays with a moderately soft feel, making it a good choice for tennis elbow sufferers. For added playability and slightly more power (trading off some durability), choose the thinner 17 gauge option.
Your choice of 16 and 17 gauge.

Luxilon ALU-Power combines great durability with impressive power and good control. Used by several ATP Tour professionals, including David Goffin and Juan Martin Del Potro. By far the most popular choice on the ATP Tour, Luxilon's co-polyester monofilament construction allows a player to take full cuts at the ball without any loss of control. Players with fast swing speeds also tend to find these strings very spin friendly.
Available only in 16L gauge.
Strung Price: $35

Description:
ALU Power Rough is a textured version of ALU Power designed to "grip" the ball for added spin potential. Used by Pros such as Federer and Djokovic in a hybrid configuration (with natural gut), this string will be appreciated by players with extreme western grips and heavy top spin games. This string does play relatively harsh when used in the entire string bed and is not recommended for those with arm or shoulder problems, unless possibly combined in a hybrid with a more forgiving multi or natural gut.
Available only in 16L.
Strung Price: $35

Description:
This is really the latest technology in poly strings (so-called third generation polys) offering superior ball pocketing, tension maintenance, and better durability than most other polyesters. This is a poly string that is surpringsingly easy on the arm, and players who desire to use poly in the full stringbed but find other popular polys such as Luxilon Big Bang or Babolat RPM Blast too harsh, may want to give this co-poly a try instead.
Your choice of 16, 17, or 18 gauge.
Strung Price: $25

Description:
Pro Line II Rough, the structured, roughened version of the Pro Line II poly offers for more ball bite and better access to spin. Just like the Pro Line II, this is a poly string that is surpringsingly easy on the arm, and players who desire to use poly in the full stringbed but find other popular polys such as Luxilon Big Bang Rough or Babolat RPM Blast Rough too harsh, may want to give this co-poly a try instead.
Your choice of 16 or 17 gauge.
Strung Price: $25

Description:
Babolat RPM Blast is used by Andy Roddick and Rafael Nadal. An excellent choice for big hitters looking for extra spin. Octagonal (8-sided) cross-section adds the extra bite on the ball for added topspin and slice. New high density co-polymer polyester (PET) monofilament combined with a new cross-linked silicone coating provides even more spin and greater ball control.
Your choice of 16, 17, or 18 gauge.
Strung Price: $35
Kevlar (Aramids) Strings

Description:
Crossfire is a popular and well known hybrid combination set that has been around for years and features Kevlar strings (meant for mains) with synthetic gut (meant for crosses). The Kevlar mains come in either 16 or 17 gauge (your choice) and like all Kevlars, are reknown for extreme durability and resistance to notching. The synthetic gut cross strings come in 16 gauge and are used to soften the overall stringbed and provide additional control. Frequent string breakers, especially those who love to hit with very heavy topspin will appreciate this string. However, I would advise those with elbow problems to consider a softer alternative such as co-polys rather than Kevlar which while very very durable, is also the most stiff of all tennis strings available today.
Your choice of 16 or 17 gauge.
Strung Price: $30

Description:
Wilson has come up with a definite champion among all with its Natural Gut tennis strings. It is a perfect blend of optimal power and a perfect feel while playing. It is an ideal choice for all those players who want to comfort their arms, those with either tennis elbow or any shoulder ailments. This tennis string is comparable to Babolat VS Gut in performance and has established itself among top-of-the-line natural guts. It gives you great control on the field and string holds stress and strain pretty well so the player does not have to worry about the string loosening up soon.
Your choice of 15L or 16 gauge.
Strung Price: $80

Description:
Babolat VS is the benchmark against which all other natural gut strings are compared. For optimum playability, choose the 16 gauge, while for added durability opt for the 15L gauge. If you are suffering from serious tennis elbow but still want to enjoy some tennis, natural gut may be your best option. And for serious tennis lovers, if you have never tried natural gut before, you owe it to yourself to try it at least once in your life to understand what all the fuss is about and the true joy that is possible in hitting a tennis ball!
Your choice of 15L or 16 gauge.
Strung Price: $80
There are many options than could be used with hydrids. There are some player who traditional use the tougher string on main and softer string on the crosses. On the other hand, some players prefer to place the softer string in the mains and the tougher string in the crosses (e.g. the Roger Federer set up of natural gut in the mains and Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Rough poly in the crosses). Although this usually provides a less durable set up than poly mains and Gut crosses, it provides more feel and power as the mains tend to dictate the overall playing characteristics of the string bed more so than the crosses.
I would love to work with you to come up with your ideal hybrid set up. If you have never used hybrids before, it could take a number of jobs experimenting with different combinations to arrive at what you like best.
